This man is my hero. He is young, tenacious, ready to change america just like he promised. He's got plenty of energy and from what I'm reading he wants to start getting things done on DAY 1!!! Go Obama!

lmao Remember when one of your friends tried to tell me there was no Gitmo?? Oh man. I still tell that story.

The prison camp currently holds about 245 inmates. Officials said nearly 60 detainees have been cleared for release, but no country has agreed to take them.

China at least wants theirs. And I guess Obama is planning on closing Gitmo pending review? I'm interested on what exactly we'll do with all those people if their homes dont want them.

That's all I wanted to know. I mean, closing it is fine with me so long as they aren't let loose just so they can head right back to taking up arms against liberty and beating the shit out of women and warping the minds of children.

Although I do believe there are much more pressing issues pertaining to the War on Terror than gitmo, its nice to see that it is Obama's #1 issue upon taking office.
